Set in Warsaw, Poland, 1939, a young Jewish girl hides out after her family is taken away by German Officers. A burglar breaks into her home, and she is forced to choose between going back for her mother's necklace or escaping. The burglar is also faced with a tough decision -- leaving the little girl to fend for herself or helping her escape.
